Vader/Voldemort 2016? Fictional Villains Polling Better Than Most Republican Presidential Candidates

The 2016 presidential election may be more than a year away, but most mainstream news sources can't stop talking about it. At this point, it's all about who will enter the race: both Democratic and Republican candidates are still announcing their bids. Some campaigning has already begun, but considering how much media coverage each election receives, this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Of course, this coverage would be easier to handle if the candidates were people like Darth Vader and Lord Voldemort. In fact, seeing these villains as candidates might get more people interested in voting, as both characters are polling at higher numbers than most presidential candidates.

If that sounds ridiculous, you haven't seen anything yet: while actual candidates like Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton did make the list, the Washington Post is reporting that the top three spots on a recent poll were taken by none other than Terminator, Darth Vader and the shark from Jaws.
