Creepy! Russian 'ghost car' pops out of nowhere, causes accident? [Video]

A video on YouTube has gone viral after it shows a "ghost car" appearing at a busy intersection of a Russian road all of a sudden, leaving the drivers in a shock.

The nearly 2-minute video has already received thousands of hits since it was uploaded just a few days ago.

The video seems to have been taken by a camera in the dashboard of a car, which was driving just behind the car that nearly crashed into the ghost car.

The video starts with a few cars waiting at the signal when the lights are red. When the signal turns green, the car starts moving and takes a left turn. Just moments after the driver takes a left turn, a car appears out of nowhere and drives away, resulting in a minor crash.

Many viewers of the video have posted their comments and there seems to be a mixed reaction from them. Some viewers have tried to give logic and theories on how the car appeared on the road without the camera capturing it, some believe that the video has been manipulated, and some are taking it to be a bizarre incident.

"Someone worked out the travel path of the car in a gif somewhere. You don't initially see it because it comes out from behind the train. By the time it's cleared the train the cars are blocking your ability to see it," comments a viewer on YouTube.

"Nice, but in my opinion its fake ... nice editing ... watch the orange car right to the other one, it's slowing down to make the 'ghost' car pass..." commented another user.

The video may be the work of good video editing; however, the slamming of brakes abruptly may make some viewers think that the ghost car appeared suddenly at the busy junction.
