Just in time for the release of the first official Steam Machine, Valve's Steam Controller and streaming device, Steam Link, will be available this fall.
If you want to grab one as early as possible, however, you'll have to preorder them. A limited number of Steam Controllers and Steam Links will be sent out on Oct. 16 for customers who preorder. Everybody else who wants to get their hands on Valve's new tech will have to wait until November.
Valve's Steam Controller features dual trackpads, HD haptics, gyroscope and accelerometer sensors and an estimated 80-hour battery life. The controller will retail for $49.99. Below is a full rundown of the specs, taken from the controller's product page:
