The Witcher 3 is available in a number of different ways for gamers. Whether through GoG.com, Steam or a physical disc, you can find CD Projekt Red's new RPG nearly anywhere. If you are looking to snag a huge deal in the process, however, you may want to consider purchasing the game's PC version digitally from Ubisoft's digital storefront.
Buying the game from the Uplay store will grab you not only The Witcher 3, but four additional Ubisoft games (depending on your region) as well.
Seriously. It's a really good deal. If you are buying from North America, your free games will be Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Child of Light, Watch Dogs and The Crew.
Fans in Australia don't get quite the same offer. Aussies will have to settle for picking one free PC game and can choose from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Anno 2070, Might and Magic X Legacy or Might and Magic VI: Shades of Darkness.
If you planned on picking up The Witcher 3 on PC anyways, having the ability to scoop up four additional games is mighty tempting. Purchasing the games via Uplay might not have the convenience of buying the game on Steam, for example, but hey, you get four free (and relatively well-received) games at no extra charge! If you want to take advantage of this deal, make it quick. It ends at the end of the day on May 21.
The Witcher 3's PC version is also the version of the game that will be updated first when it comes to CD Projekt Red improving the game. The game's first major patch is out on PC right now and will be coming to console players soon.
