It's a war of words over Twitter -- at least it was coming from Chris Brown's side. The singer's anger was triggered over a selfie posted by model Tyson Beckford smiling with Brown's ex, yes ex, meaning no longer his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
The two posed for the selfie last Saturday in Las Vegas and almost immediately, Brown went into a twitter rage professing not only his undying love for his ex-girlfriend, but also threatened Beckford and his family. The tweets have since been deleted but live on as screen shots because nothing ever really disappears on the internet.
Among the scathing tweets that Brown posted were:
"I'm done all this Internet talking blood. Be in Vegas soon."
"Keep playing ima f-k ya baby momma and then whoop yo child like he mine."
"U wanna keep walking them runways. I need ta legs for that. Keep playing like I ain't wit the bullsh-t."
Kid Red, a friend of Brown's also joined in on the online war with his own thinly veiled threat against Beckford, posting an Instagram video captioned, "MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND aka the niggas will be out. .. We just came to party tho , unless a nigga wanna try us ... And that includes u model niggas "Cough Cough #TysonBeckFord, we see everything LiL nigga" #DontPlayYaSelf. #CedarBlocka#FruitTownPiru #OHB #FillmoeNiggasDoItAll@tysoncbeckford."
Beckford posted his own follow-up, at first playing it cool.
And then posting a video on his Instagram account of himself firing at a gun range, which some say was meant to egg on Brown.
For her part, Karrueche reportedly wants none of her ex's drama, saying that "It's cute ... if you're in high school."
The aspiring actress has said that she wants to build a reputation for herself as a serious Hollywood star and antics such as Chris Brown's jealous rages over Internet selfies do not help her.
