Chris Brown is reportedly father to a nine-month-old baby girl, according to TMZ.
The Hollywood gossip website claims the 25-year-old Brown had a baby girl allegedly with a 31-year-old woman named Nia, who is believed to be former model Nia Riley, daughter of rapper Teddy Riley.
Sources close to Brown and Riley tell TMZ the two are "on very good terms," although they are not currently in a romantic relationship. Brown, who came out recently on Power 105.1's Breakfast Club admitting he wanted to have children with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, is also reportedly enjoying being a father. Although no formal parental support is involved, Brown is said to have made a financial arrangement with the baby's mother.
Riley reportedly named the baby Royalty but it is not clear if Chris Brown was consulted about it.
"I'm cool with two, one is fine, if on the first try it's a boy," the "Loyal" singer said at the time.
Riley, who has an on-again/off-again relationship with rapper Soulja Boy, made her Twitter profile private hours before news of Brown's alleged baby broke out, but not before telling the world, "Y'all know I'm not the only Nia in the world, right?"
The Love & Hip Hop star has a daughter named Kamryn, but it's unclear if Soulja Boy, who previously did not provide Riley support when she suffered a miscarriage, is the father. Other rumors say NBA star Al Horford fathered Riley's child.
The news seemed to have put an end to Brown and model girlfriend Karrueche Tran's relationship, which had always been rocky from the start. TMZ says Tran only learned about Brown's alleged baby just moments before the news broke out online. The two reportedly had a huge fight before TMZ published the news. Brown tried calling her but she did not pick up her phone.
A photo has also surfaced on the Internet showing Tran, Riley, and Brown partying with a group of friends in Las Vegas in May 2013, a few months before the baby was conceived.
On Twitter, Tran announced she was giving up her relationship with Brown for good, despite earlier rumors that the two were ready to tie the knot later this year. Sources close to Tran say she is actually feeling relieved, since the situation gives her a clean way out.
