Memorial Day weekends are made for throwing some burgers on the grill, sitting back and indulging in sports. To that end, we put together this handy Memorial Day weekend sports TV guide, covering everything from NBA and NHL playoff action to mixed martial arts (MMA) action and NASCAR. Enjoy your sports!

Friday, May 22

NHL Playoffs

Game 4 New York Rangers at Tampa Bay Lightning, 8 p.m. EDT, NBCSN

Down 2-1 in the Eastern Conference Finals, can Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers make a stand on the road and knot the series up at 2-2? We'll find out Friday night. Drop the puck!

NBA Playoffs

Game 2 Cleveland Cavaliers at Atlanta Hawks, 8:30 p.m. EDT, TNT

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers already stole homecourt advantage from the Atlanta Hawks. Going up 2-0 in the series and heading back to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4 would put the NBA Finals in sniffing distance for King James' Cavs.

Saturday, May 23

BOXING

Andre Dirrell vs. James DeGale, 4:30 p.m. EDT, NBC

Flint, Michigan's own Andre Dirrell faces the U.K.'s James DeGale for the vacant super middleweight title as part of NBC's continued push to put the national spotlight on boxing.

NHL Playoffs

Game 4 Anaheim Ducks at Chicago Blackhawks, 8 p.m. EDT, NBC

Trailing 2-1 in the series, it will be interesting to see if the Chicago Blackhawks can dig back into the series and possibly get back to the Stanley Cup Finals, which they won in 2013.

NBA Playoffs

Game 3 Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets, 9 p.m. EDT, ESPN

Stephen Curry is definitely feeling it — averaging 33.5 points through two games, with the Golden State Warriors owning a 2-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals. If Curry can will the Warriors to victory over the Rockets for Game 3 in Houston, it will essentially drop the hammer on H-Town's chances and bring Golden State one step closer to an NBA Finals' berth.

UFC

UFC 187, 10 p.m. EDT, Pay Per View

Anthony Johnson vs. Daniel Cormier

Vitor Belfort vs. Chris Weidman

Anthony Johnson was supposed to challenge Jon Jones, but personal issues with Jones led to him giving up his lightheavyweight title. That paved the way for Johnson to knuckle up with Daniel Cormier in the octagon this Saturday night. By all means, Cormier is no slouch. The Vitor Belfort-Chris Weidman middleweight bout should be solid, too.

Sunday, May 24

NASCAR

Coca-Cola 600: Sprint Cup Series at Charlotte, 6 p.m. EDT, FOX

Gentlemen... start your engines! Who do you like to cross the checkered flag this weekend?

NHL Playoffs

Game 5 Tampa Bay Lightning at New York Rangers, 8 p.m. EDT, NBCSN

The Rangers and Lightning continue to skate — this time, back at Madison Square Garden. The Rangers will be trying to get back to their second straight Stanley Cup Finals.

NBA Playoffs

Game 3 Atlanta Hawks at Cleveland Cavaliers, 8:30 p.m. EDT, TNT

Can the Atlanta Hawks make a stand — and make this a series? Doing so will mean winning at least one game in Cleveland.

Monday, May 25

NHL Playoffs

Game 5

Chicago Blackhawks at Anaheim Ducks, 9 p.m. EDT, NBCSN

Will this be a pivotal Game 5 — or will the Ducks be pushing the Blackhawks to the brink of elimination?

NBA Playoffs

Game 4 Golden State Warriors at Houston Rockets, 9 p.m. EDT, ESPN

Watching MVP Stephen Curry and runner-up James Harden on Memorial Day? There isn't much to not like about that!
