'Ant-Man' Ending May Have Just Been Spoiled By A Lego Set

Marvel's next big superhero film is Ant-Man, starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. Judging from the trailers, it should be one of the more interesting Marvel Cinematic Universe films so far.

It might be a little less interesting, however, if you know how the film's climactic final battle will play out. How would one know about this without seeing the movie?

Lego. Toys for these films come out months in advance of the movies themselves, and often times will reveal characters or plot points that have yet to be seen in the film's numerous trailers. Lego recently took spoiler to a whole new level recently when images (via Brickfan) for an upcoming Ant-Man "Final Battle" Lego set hit the web. The set is slated to officially release on June 1.

Be warned, there may be some serious Ant-Man spoilers ahead. Continue to scroll down at your own risk.

Still here? Final warning.

Okay. As you can see in the image below, the Final Battle playset depicts new Ant-Man Scott Lang (as played by Paul Rudd) riding an insect, locked in battle with the villain Yellow Jacket. But what it also includes is a third Lego minifigure in the form of Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas). Pym serves as Lang's mentor in the film and judging from the Lego set looks like he may join the battle against Yellow Jacket in a Ant-Man suit of his own.

Here is a closer look at the Hank Pym figure, wearing a darker Ant-Man suit.

We definitely haven't seen that yet in the trailers. So there you have it: Hank Pym may join the fray during the climactic final battle of Ant-Man. Pym definitely isn't in his prime in the film, and it doesn't make sense to have two Ant-Men wondering around the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Might Pym meet his end in this final battle? We will just have to wait and watch Ant-Man on July 17 to find out.
