Rocksteady's barrage of trailers and gameplay reveals and behind-the-scenes videos for Batman: Arkham Knight continues today, this time with a live-action vid that wants you to "Be the Batman."
As in literally, it wants you to be Batman. In real life.
Okay, maybe that's a little extreme. It's really just a promotional piece that features actors in dangerous scenarios, being forced to find their courage. One man is surrounded by thugs in an alley, in the pouring rain. Another watches as an old man is harrassed on the subway. A fireman spots a child on the second floor of a burning building. A basketball player in tremendous pain has to get back out on the court.
It's all very dramatic and empowering, but you won't see much in the way of gameplay.
We get it. Stand up for yourself, be brave, let nothing stop you. It's all about feeling what it's like to be the Dark Knight, which is the experience promised to players by Batman: Arkham Knight. We just hope some "less enlightened" person out there doesn't get inspired by the feels to go out and turn vigilante.
Sadly, the video leaves us hanging. Does the fireman rescue the kid and make it out of the building alive? Does the crowd of pedestrians on the subway survive their encounter? Does the guy in the alley go all Neo and kick their butts? We'll never know.
Sidenote: does anybody else think that guy in the alley could totally pass as Daniel Radcliffe's twin?
Batman: Arkham Knight arrives June 23, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
