Weird, inexplicable things happen in sports all the time.
Thursday night in Cincinnati was one of those times. That's when San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum – for the life of him – just couldn't find his footing on the mound, slipping, falling and repeatedly eating dirt. Groundskeepers checked on the mound, but it still didn't help the right-hander stand upright.
Check out how weird it got up there for Lincecum, who brought a streak of 15 scoreless innings into the game and left providing the Internet a slice of Vine nirvana that will seemingly live on forever.
