Watch Video For 'Bad Motivator,' Chris Hardwick's Country Ode To 'Star Wars'

What happens when you don't listen to your mother? Well, obviously, your life might turn out like this country song called "Bad Motivator," where Nerdist's Chris Hardwick sings about his life as the creator of the R5-D4, the astromech droid that Star Wars' Luke Skywalker turned down for R2-D2.

For example, in the song, Hardwick sings that his mama warned him that he shouldn't go on vacation in Tattooine, but apparently, he didn't listen and ends up attacked. He also didn't listen about anything else and spends the rest of his life as a total failure, even in his creation of the R5-D4, the robot that Luke Skywalker didn't want.

Hardwick stars in the video for the song, but keep your eye out for a few cameos, including Wil Wheaton as Han Solo. Liam Lynch, who wrote the song, also puts in a brief appearance.

This, is obviously, a must-watch for any Star Wars fan.

So happy May 4th, everyone and as always, May the 4th be with you:

It's no big surprise that Hardwick would put such a video together. Not only is he a geek icon, but he's also the creator of Nerdist.com (which launched Nerdist Industries) and the host of AMC's The Talking Dead, the talk show that follows episodes of The Walking Dead. In 2013, Hardwick hosted a similar show after Breaking Bad, called Talking Bad.

Nerdist has also given us some other funny geeky videos, including a Star Wars and Louie mash-up and Blank Page, a parody of George R.R. Martin singing Taylor Swift.
