It's the next morning and NBA fans are still ranting about the two devastating dunks that Blake Griffin threw down during the Los Angeles Clippers' 107-92 Game 1 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night.
Too bad that Spurs center Aron Baynes was victimized in both jams. Someone check on Aron...he will never be the same after being posterized so viciously.
The first dunk came on a Chris Paul set up, which Griffin took up and over Baynes with emphasis. Absolutely brutal.
If that wasn't enough punishment to dole out in one night, Griffin was back at it with Baynes in his crosshairs, this time using a 360-degree spin move and thunderous dunk. This dunk should have come equipped with white chalk crime scene outlines around Baynes' body.
Although Griffin stole the show over the weekend, there were other great playoff highlights from the weekend as well.
So much for Kyrie Irving never having playoff experience. 30 points on 11-of-21 shooting later and nobody is going to say anything anymore. The Cleveland Cavaliers rolled to a 113-100 Game 1 win over the Boston Celtics.
Beno Udrih came to play, scoring 20 points off the bench to lift the Memphis Grizzlies to a 100-86 Game 1 win over the Portland Trail Blazers .
These Grizzlies' fans were digging it...Ok, a little too much.
Derrick Rose seems to be healthy, willing and able.
The Dwight Howard made a difference for the Houston Rockets.
How in the world did Stephen Curry make this shot?
This Anthony Davis Alley-Oop was impressive...not bad for the kid's playoff debut.
