This year, you can score some sweet deals from restaurants, stores and hotels across the country, from free food to coupons to complimentary massages. Aside from getting a tax refund, these offers are the only good things about having to file and pay your taxes, am I right?
And if you haven't filed your taxes yet, you could still partake in these deals. It's not like anyone's going to be checking to make sure your tax return is all taken care of or anything like that. But you'll know.
So whether you're all done with your taxes or just need an excuse to have a ball on Wednesday, here are 15 Tax Day 2015 deals you'll find at participating locations across the country.
1. Boston Market
Nothing says, "I am ready to party after getting my taxes done" like chowing down on some rotisserie chicken. Boston Market has a special BOGO promotion for April 15 where you get an individual meal free with the purchase of an individual meal. This promotion applies to whole sandwiches, whole sandwich combos, salad bowls and market bowls too, but you're only limited to three BOGOs per person per visit.
2. Hard Rock Cafe
If filing taxes has you ready to rock, participating Hard Rock Cafe locations have you covered. Sing a song on stage on April 15, and you'll get a Local Legendary Burger. Rock on.
3. Pizza Hut
If after filing your taxes you just can't get enough of filling out forms, Pizza Hut has just what you're looking for. The pizza chain is running a National Pizza Return promotion where you can fill out a "P-2" form documenting all of your pizza intake in 2014. "P-2" forms that are postmarked by April 18 will be entered for a chance to win Pizza Hut gift cards in the amount of their net pizza return.
4. Sonic
Half-price cheeseburgers are coming at you at participating Sonic locations on April 15. That means you can have two cheeseburgers for the price of one. Go ahead. You've earned it.
5. Great American Cookies
Great American Cookies is giving out free sugar cookies in honor of Tax Day 2015. The only things guaranteed in life are death, taxes and the fact that you will want another cookie after you wolf down this freebie.
6. California Tortilla
Get free chips and queso or salsa at California Tortilla on April 15. However, in order to do so you do have to make a purchase and say the secret password, "Taxes Shmaxes."
7. Royal Caribbean International
It's almost summer. Why not use that tax return to go on vacation? Royal Caribbean International can help with that. If you book a cruise by April 15, Royal Caribbean will pay for your cruise booking taxes, port charges and fees. Now that's how you set sail in style.
8. Hotel Deals
If you'd rather take a trip somewhere on land, several hotels have special Tax Day promotions, which you'll find a nice round-up of on ShermansTravel Blog.
9. ESquared Hospitality
ESquared Hospitality, the company behind such restaurants as BLT Steak, is offering 50 percent off all alcoholic beverages at some of its restaurants on April 15. That's how you properly cheers to the end of tax season.
10. Office Depot/OfficeMax
In case you need to get rid of some documents after tax season, Office Depot and OfficeMax are offering to shred 2 pounds worth of paper for free through April 25 with this coupon.
11. Staples
If you've got more heavy-duty shredding that needs to be done, Staples will shred up to 5 pounds of documents for free with this coupon through May 2.
12. Fashion Project
Now that tax season is over, it's time to dive into spring cleaning. Why not clear out your closet and do some good at the same time? For every three qualifying items you donate to Fashion Project, you will receive a $10.40 gift card to use in the online clothing donation site's shop. Make sure to pledge your clothing by April 23 and postmark your donation by April 30 in order to qualify for this promotion.
13. HydroMassage
There are few days as stressful for Americans as Tax Day. You can finally unwind and relax with a free HydroMassage experience through April 17. Just be sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment so you can get your Tax Day chill on.
14. Tony Roma’s
If you eat at a participating Tony Roma's on April 15, you'll be seeing red... red velvet cake, that is. The restaurant chain is giving away free red velvet cake desserts, which customers can receive in three different ways. One is to eat at a participating Tony Roma's on April 15, and use the coupon for a free red velvet cake dessert during your next visit to the restaurant. If you're a member of Tony Roma's Email Club, you should have been emailed a coupon valid until April 29. If you happen to live in the Doral or Sunny Isles areas of Miami, you should be able to find a Tony Roma's employee handing out coupons in front of the post office.
15. Sonny’s BBQ
Celebrating filing your taxes at a barbecue joint is always a good idea. You can score a half-price rib dinner at Sonny's BBQ on Tax Day. Now that's finger-lickin' good, don't you think?
