Tom Hanks Reenacted All His Movies With James Corden On 'The Late Late Show’

James Corden proved he has what it takes to take his position behind the desk as a late-night TV host during his first episode of The Late Late Show on Monday.

The British host who replaced Craig Ferguson on the CBS late-night show, entertained the audience—and now the internet—with a skit featuring Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks.

Hanks did not go on to talk about some new movie or TV show with Corden, but rather to bring back the best moments from every single movie he's made— and it was as magical as The Polar Express.

Hanks reenacted scenes from all of his movies with Corden in just under ten minutes.

Try to name a movie Hanks starred in that was bad—chances are you can't. The actor reminded us why we love them, while Cordon showed us why we should love him, by acting out some of our favorite scenes from movies like Saving Private Ryan, Sleepless in Seattle and The Green Mile.

The two started the skit off by sitting on a park bench from Forrest Gump, Hanks giving the infamous "life is like a box of chocolates" line. At the sound of the bell, the two would then change their appearance a bit while the green screen brought up the next scene.

We get to see Hanks act out Big, Turner & Hooch, The Da Vinci Code, Saving Mr. Banks and Splash.

Corden said the famous line from Captain Phillips, "Look at me, I am the captain now," while Hanks said, "There's no crying in baseball," from A League Of Their Own.

The two sang for That Thing You Do, ran around for Catch Me If You Can, and hopped onto a fake bike for Larry Crowne.

Probably the best reenactment was a scene from Castaway when Hanks character put a bloody hand print on Wilson the volleyball. Cordon portrayal of Wilson out in the ocean is hilarious, and Hanks looks ridiculous with a fake beard. He slapped Cordon with some paint and yelled, "Wilson!"

The skit ends with the two singing "You've Got A Friend in Me" from Toy Story.
