Rocksteady has been rather generous when it comes to Batman: Arkham Knight. Usually, as a game nears its release, gamers see less and less of it - the team still needs to finish the game, after all. However, thanks to Arkham Knight's delay way back in September 2014, the team has had ample time to not only make sure Arkham Knight is incredibly polished, but to show the game off as well.
So, while most studios would be happy releasing a minute-long teaser at this point, Rocksteady has uploaded a 7-minute gameplay walkthrough: "Officer Down" is the best look at Arkham Knight fans have seen yet, and as always, it looks amazing.
If, somehow, you've missed the last year's worth of updates, here's Rocksteady's official description of Batman: Arkham Knight:
"In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever. Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City. Be The Batman."
There's still a few months to go before release, and Rocksteady's only making it harder by releasing all these teases...why does June have to be so far away?
Batman: Arkham Knight will finally hit store shelves on June 23.
