The third season of Arrow really hasn't held back - there have been some absolutely huge moments throughout the year (including more than a few deaths), and with any luck, it's only going to get better from here.
There are only a few episodes left before the season three finale airs, and as such, Arrow is starting to tie all of its storylines together.
Case in point: next week's episode, titled "Suicidal Tendencies," not only reintroduces the Suicide Squad, but it marks the first time that Oliver will meet up with Ray Palmer's alter ego, The Atom. Watch below:
20 seconds isn't a lot of time to jam so much information into, but somehow, the teaser sets up no less than three major confrontations (with the possibility of more) in that short run-time. First, fans will see the return of Deadshot and the rest of the Suicide Squad, and that will be followed up by the confrontation between Arrow and Ra's. After that, Oliver will finally take on Ray Palmer - in the completed Atom suit - for the first time.
Obviously, the big tease here is Atom vs. Arrow. The Suicide Squad's return is a big deal (especially with a movie around the corner), and Oliver finally taking on Ra's again will likely have a huge impact on the rest of the season, but fans have been waiting for Oliver and Ray to go at it. Ever since the suit was first teased last year, viewers have been counting down the moments until the suit made its true debut - no more flight tests or assembly, this is the real deal. And will Felicity's heart be the reward?
Let's just hope that, after all those months of teasing, Ray's suit is as powerful as it looks.
"Suicidal Tendencies," the next episode of Arrow, will air March 25 on CW.
