What a fun Pi Day had by all! Everyone, well many, were super excited about Pi Day 2015, especially Neil deGrasse Tyson! He was all over Twitter today giving us fun fact after fun tweet.
The host of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey offered us a variety of Pi facts and jokes. He even took the time to wish some happy Pi Day Birthdays to Billy Crystal, Michael Caine, Apollo Astronaut Frank Borman & Albert Einstein. Let's take a look at some of his 3.14.15 antics. We got regular Pi from Neil:
Enough Pi for everyone: 3.14159265358979323846264338327950288419716939937510582097494459230781640628620899862803482534211706

We got the BEST Pi too:
Best Pi-Day Ever: 53 minutes & 58 seconds after 6 o’clock, March 14, the year 1592: 3/14/1592; 6:53:58 — Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) March 14, 2015
We also got a song parody today from CollegeHumor, fresh off their Apple Watch Edition Price explainer video, in which a power rock ballad group sang about pi. They included every single possible number or at least tried, as it is an infinite decimal, to the tune of Warrant's Cherry Pie. Hit play and enjoy the last piece of the pie, we feel some memories of hair bands flowing back into your brain. There's no escaping it, don't even try. It goes on forever and ever and ever. . .
A lot of effort and counting went into this pi parody that surely it impressed the Count from Sesame Street, right? There's no way he would try to count pi? Oh, it's the internet, we almost forgot. Enjoy all 5 hours of it:
Pi doesn't stop, so neither do we at Tech Times, here are more glorious #PiDay Tweets we <3 :

Eventually, even Neil got tired of all the 3.15.14's
I’m all Pi’ed out. But okay, one more… — Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) March 14, 2015
He left us with this last Tweet for Pi Day 2015
You’re curious -- I can feel it. How many digits of Pi before the numerals 0123456789 appear in sequence? 17,387,594,879 — Neil deGrasse Tyson (@neiltyson) March 14, 2015
Hope you had a blast with pi on your brain and pie in your belly. Next up is St. Patrick's Day with lots of irish style beer to drink and all the people around you wearing green and pins that say "Kiss Me I'm Irish!".
