Every month means more free games for Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus subscribers, and next month is no different. Thanks to a leak, we now have our first look at what free games Microsoft will be offering come March.
According to a leaked screenshot (via NeoGAF), Xbox owners can look forward to some big titles next month. Xbox 360 players will be able to download the Tomb Raider reboot from March 1-15, after which Bioshock: Infinite will be free.
If you are playing on Xbox One, March will bring a free copy of Rayman Legends. February's free game #IDARB will roll over into March as well. Both titles will be available to download for free on Xbox One throughout the entire month.
It's one of the better Games With Gold offerings yet. Both Bioshock: Infinite and Tomb Raider are critically acclaimed titles that are well worth checking out if you haven't already, and Rayman Legends is a fantastic platformer.
And that's not all. Though we don't know what the games will be, the leaked image hints at even more free games coming to the program the following month. In April, Xbox 360 owners with a Gold subscription will be getting four free games as opposed to two, while Xbox One owners will be getting two. While technically speaking Xbox One players have been getting two free games for a while now, one game is always a carryover from the previous month.
Sony's free game program has long been held superior to Microsoft's more recent Games With Gold program, but April might be the turning point. We will just have to wait and see what games Microsoft will be offering. In the meantime, there will be plenty of free, excellent games to pass the time.
