Social network Twitter is all abuzz given online leaked images of what's to come for Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Heists when it comes to weapons and vehicles and potential new mayhem.
As a series of Tweets reveals, along with several gaming site reports, GTA 5 Online Heists lovers have a lot to look forward to and the wait may well be worth it as there are reportedly new weapons and vehicles and even new characters in the mix.
There are reports of new bikes, a new helicopter, a new Karin Kuruma, and even a new character category called "actors."
YouTuber DomisLive is providing new insight on exclusive Heist missions as well as Heist DLC vehicles for GTA Online.
There will be five new Heist missions for PS4, PC and Xbox One as well as PS3 and Xbox 360. New powerful combat vehicle Hydra is also supposedly arriving. However, not every new combat option, such as the Hydra plane, is specific to Heists, but reports say it can be used for missions.
Newly leaked images from Funmw2 reveals a list of new vehicles including the Karin Technical, boasting a machine gun, and the sleek armored car Kuruma as well as some new Velum variant.
For the two-wheel vehicle fans, the leaks indicate some brand new motorcycles. New potential weapons include thermite explosives and a shotgun complete with silencer. There are also supposedly new masks and some industrial-looking drill types of weapon.
Keep in mind that Rockstar has not confirmed any of the leaked insight. GTA 5 for the PC arrives Mar. 24 and supposedly Heists will arrive shortly after. As Tech Times reported, Rockstar has officially announced Grand Theft Auto 6 is on the way.
GTA popularity is climbing and proving rewarding for Take-Two Interactive, which recently raised its sales forecast for the final quarter of the 2015 fiscal year. Take-Two Interactive is the parent company of Rockstar and 2K. The company has sold around 45 million copies of GTA V to outlets, with nearly 10 million shipped for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Because of a $50 million revenue spike expected this year, the company is looking to readjust its revenue from $1.65 billion to $1.7 billion. Strauss Zelnick, chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive, believes 2015 may be the company's best fiscal year yet.
Zelnick attributes this to the much-anticipated launch of Evolve and Grand Theft Auto V for PC on top of the company's range of other offerings that fans will get excited over.
"We will continue to deliver titles that captivate audiences around the world and set benchmarks for excellence," said Zelnick.
Take-Two Interactive intends to release the following games in 2016:
Evolve Xbox One, PS4, PC - Feb. 10, 2015 (2K)
WWE 2K15: 2K Showcase: Hall of Pain DLC Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 - Feb. 17, 2015 (2K)
