Not only did Grand Theft Auto V have a hugely successful release on last-generation consoles, but a year later, it saw even more success on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It's rare that a game can be released twice and perform well both times - then again, considering the numerous upgrades that the next-generation port received, it makes sense that the game would continue to sell.
Even with the re-release, there's still one last platform that Grand Theft Auto V hasn't made its way to yet: the PC. Previous PC ports of the series haven't done the GTA name justice (Grand Theft Auto IV was a buggy mess at launch), but Rockstar seems like it has a handle on the upcoming PC GTA V release. After all, it wouldn't be taking so long if they were just going to rush it out, right?
Unfortunately for PC gamers, GTA V on PC is going to take a little longer: earlier today, Rockstar announced that the PC port of the game won't be released until March 24.
It's not a very long delay, but it still stings: the PC version of Rockstar's open-world game was originally due out later this month. As for the reasons behind the delay, Rockstar said that "...the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans."
At the very least, there's a bit of good news to go with the bad: Rockstar has finally released the official system requirements for GTA V, meaning that players will finally be able to see if their computers can actually play the game. The system specifications are as follows:
Minimum specifications:
OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2* (*NVIDIA video card recommended if running Vista OS)

The PC port also includes triple-monitor support and resolutions up to 4K (if you happen to have a setup that rivals that of NASA).
Finally, Rockstar gave one last update about the much anticipated Heists. The new four-player multi-mission Heists are scheduled for release "...in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch." It's still not a solid release date, but at least Rockstar is slowly narrowing down the launch window.
