This is an interview with Giorgi Shonia, CEO of Nordom. To learn more about him, see Giorgi Shonia's portfolio page. Giorgi Shonia began his cybersecurity career as a youngster, swiftly developing his knowledge to become a full-stack developer and successfully promoting his products in the American and European markets.

How Did Giorgi Shonia's Career in Tech Go So Far, So Fast?

To be honest, I believe that the main reason for such timing would be the initial starting point, I guess. I began my career as a teenager. At the age of 14, I was already interested in cybersecurity, and by 17, I was involved in international projects as a full-stack developer. Afterward, at 21, I finally founded a company that now employs more than 80 dedicated professionals.

My ultimate dedication and support of my team are the reasons my career has been marked by early success, bold decisions, and a deep commitment to solving real-world problems through technology. Over the years, I have worked relentlessly to build companies that question what is possible. Today, as the CEO of Nordom and Moncero, I pursue my passion for innovation and digital transformation simultaneously.

What Was the Main Idea Behind Joining the Cryptosphere, and Why Did You Start Nordom?

Because of my vivid interest in the crypto sphere, I recognized the challenges that many new crypto users face. To solve these challenges and come up with the most efficient solutions on the market, I co-founded Nordom just a few months ago. It is alarming to know that nearly 20 to 25 percent of newcomers abandon crypto trading due to its inherent complexity. I saw an opportunity to create a platform that simplifies the trading process while maintaining the highest standards of security and transparency.

What Is So Special About Nordom, Though?

Nordom is built on three foundational principles. First, we offer a user-centric experience, designing our platform to be intuitive and easy to navigate for both beginners and experienced traders. Second, we maintain clear, transparent practices so that every user understands exactly what they are paying for. Third, we prioritize security, knowing that the safety of our users and their assets is paramount in today's fast-paced digital economy.

Are There Any Interpersonal Abilities That Helped Giorgi Shonia During These Years?

Building a robust community has always been at the heart of my approach. Traditional advertising channels, such as those used by large corporations on platforms like Google and Meta, can be prohibitively expensive, with costs ranging from $80 to $500 per user acquisition in the crypto space. I believe that investing in community building is a far more sustainable strategy. At Nordom, we have implemented innovative methods such as interactive crypto games on Telegram, task-based challenges, and referral programs that not only reduce costs but also create a loyal user base. By engaging with our community directly, we can gather valuable feedback and continuously improve our platform.

Innovation Means So Many Things to Many People; What Is Your Take on Tech Innovation?

Innovation is not just about creating a product; it is about solving a problem that exists in the market. Every project I have been a part of has been driven by the need to address a specific challenge, whether it is simplifying the complexity of crypto trading or providing a secure and transparent platform for digital transactions. In a market full of blue ocean opportunities, the key is to identify a gap that others have overlooked and deliver a solution that truly makes a difference.

How Did Nordom Navigate Through the Changing Regulatory System, and What Is Giorgi Shonia's Personal Experience with Constant Changes?

The crypto industry is also characterized by its evolving regulatory landscape. New regulations are being introduced gradually, and while they can pose challenges, they also encourage companies to innovate and adapt continuously. Being prepared for regulatory changes is essential, and it is an integral part of our strategy at Nordom. Flexibility and readiness to update our practices are not just beneficial but necessary in an environment where change is constant.

I firmly believe that by focusing on genuine innovation, building strong communities, and always striving to solve real problems, we can create a future that is both secure and prosperous.
