A new promotion from T-Mobile gives postpaid customers the opportunity to get free 5G mobile phones. However, there is a catch.

The promotion is only available at a certain third-party retailer, and it's none other than Walmart.

Here's what you have to know in order to score a free 5G phone from T-Mobile.

Free 5G Phones From T-Mobile

It should be noted that this promotion has not been officially launched by T-Mobile as of press time. According to Android Police, it was leaked to The Mobile Report.

Interested postpaid customers should also note that there are only specific models that are part of the promotion. These include:

  • Motorola Moto G (2024)
  • Motorola G Stylus 5G (2024)
  • Samsung Galaxy A15 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy A14 5G
  • T-Mobile REVVL 6x 5G

This T-Mobile deal's availability also has a catch. Specifically, it is available to postpaid customers who qualify for device financing.

How to Get the Free Phone From Walmart

As previously mentioned, this deal is exclusive to the electronic kiosks found at Walmart. However, interested customers should keep in mind that not all Walmart outlets have electronic kiosks that carry T-Mobile devices.

So how exactly is the phone from this promotion free? The customer will receive monthly bill credits for a period of 24 months. This is how the device becomes free.

However, the customer should still pay for service.
