Coming to events and meeting all sorts of people in the crowd may be easy for some, but others are easily overwhelmed, and this is where a new indie app called "People" comes in to help and save the day. Instead of forgetting essential things about the people you meet, this latest app from indie developer, Andrew Theis, is looking to simplify one's life by helping highlight key information about others.
Tracking down important people has been hard to do in this digital age, but this new app from Theis that mimics the Contacts app and makes it more intuitive is now on a mission to help those who are often unmindful of the events happening around them.
'People' App Set to Help Users Remember Things About Others
There is now a new app that is set to make its debut in the market, and it is an indie app called 'People' which helps users remember things about the people they meet, and it is available for any setup imaginable. According to 9to5Mac, Andrew Theis regarded that he created the app as being forgetful, and the developer regarded that he usually jots the names down via Notes which is not entirely helpful.
Sometimes, listing down names and designations in the Notes app may leave users without any context of how, why, and when they met, but the new People app is set to change the experience for users.
While creating or listing the context still relies on users, it can help them remember the said information later, instead of trying to fish the right setting later on which can be a challenge for those who are easily overwhelmed.

Contacts App Alternative That Offers a New Experience For All
According to the app's landing page, users may now sign up to join People's public data before it drops next week, to get a head start in getting the experience directly on their iOS devices. Users may create 'Events' which could hold the collection of the people they meet and list down, seemingly like a Contacts app, but offers more context or background regarding the person, similar to a Rolodex.
iPhone Features and Apps To Help You Remember
Getting a smartphone is the best way to help in your everyday struggles of remembering stuff, and one of the top devices available is Apple's iPhone lineup which offers many intuitive features. Because of the massive upgrade to Siri with Apple Intelligence, Cupertino's renowned AI chatbot has offered significant improvements including helping users set location-based reminders, track parked cars, ask it for context, and more.
However, if you are not keen on using Reminders or Siri, there are still third-party apps to choose from to help you find the right fit for your situation, especially as it can be a handful. There is already a list of AI Notes apps that can help in easily transforming information into trackable ones, with Wunderlist also offering their latest 'Superlist' which can help organize one's life with to-dos to accomplish.
Being forgetful may be a mental health condition for some, but for others, there are just some days that their cognitive thinking is not working the way it is supposed to, and there are now apps that help with this problem. Theis introduced his latest Contacts-like app to help users remember the persons they meet, with the People app set to bring a helping hand to those who are in a tight spot after meetings, night outs, and more.
