Before hitting the "Buy" button, weigh your options first or determine if this iPhone is truly a need and we are here to guide you.
iPhone 15 vs. iPhone 16: Here are Reasons Why You Should Upgrade
Apple introducedthe iPhone 16's base variant and iPhone 16 Plus to the world this fall, and they are promising devices that were built for Apple Intelligence.
First off, it now features the A18 chip which is dedicated to running its AI capabilities, as opposed to iPhone 15's A16 Bionic. Apple Intelligence not only brings generative capabilities for the iPhone 16 series but it also offers photo and video improvements, as well as Apple app functionalities.
One of the most obvious changes here is its rear camera layout which forgoes the square bump and diagonal layout to a horizontal one. Its new lenses bring 48MP Fusion and 12MP Ultrawide, but Apple added macro photography capabilities, spatial photos, and anti-reflective lens coating for the Fusion.
Camera Control, the new physical button on the iPhone 16's right side, also offers quick, easy, and improved functionalities in taking photos or shooting videos. Users can now shoot Spatial Video and 4K Dolby Vision up to 60fps on the new device.
The built-in Ceramic Shield also improves the protection of its front screen. There are also new colors to choose from including White, Ultra Marine, Teal, and a new shade of Pink.
Lastly, new battery improvements boost more of its usage.

Take a Breath, Here's Why You Should Not Upgrade to iPhone 16
Apple Intelligence may be a game-changer here, but the iPhone 15 is not that far behind the iPhone 16's capabilities. While both are priced starting at $799 in brand new, there is now a discount from Apple which cuts $100 off the iPhone 15.
The iPhone 15 may not have access to Apple Intelligence, but that would not matter if you are not a fan of it. Moreover, Apple Intelligence is yet to be tested among the public, and this also applies to the A18 chip, which may have problems manifest once it is released this October.
Apple's iPhone 17 Early Rumors and Speculations
The many leaks, rumors, and speculations behind the iPhone 17 series have torn the current market before the fated September 2024 fall event from Apple.
First off, it would be a more powerful device because of its 12GB RAM, and this is four additional gigabytes from the current iPhone 16 series.
Next, there would be an upcoming iPhone 17 'Air' or 'Slim' variant which would replace the Plus version, and it is a mid-variant release in between the base and iPhone 17 Pro series.
While the iPhone 16 may be promising, users on the iPhone 15 may set aside their desire to upgrade now and wait for the iPhone 17 series instead.
