It's Glowtime gave the world the shining and shimmering new iPhone 16 series which boasts massive capabilities, especially with the iPhone 16 Pro variants, the current most powerful Apple smartphone. One of the main focus of these new devices is that it was "built for Apple Intelligence," said the Cupertino giant, touting its on-device generative AI experiences.
Apple iPhone 16 Pro's New Features to Look Out For
The latest iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max are now here, and they bring forth the first dedicated AI device for Apple Intelligence.
One of the biggest upgrades here is the A18 Pro chipset which is exclusive to the Pro series only, featuring a 6-core CPU (2 performance and 4 efficiency cores), a 6-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. With this chip, accessing what Apple Intelligence has to offer is possible, said Apple.
Cupertino also said that accessing Apple Intelligence would uphold user privacy and security with the Private Cloud Compute technology.
Additionally, it also features iOS 18 upon launch, touting Siri's new animation and access to Apple's generative models and OpenAI's ChatGPT in its showcase.
The new Camera Control button, a.k.a. the Capture Button, is exclusive to the entire iPhone 16 series. Found at the bottom right side of the device-, it allows users to take photos, zoom in or out, and adjust the focus before capturing the image.
Most Powerful iPhone Release in History?
Paired with the latest and most powerful SoC, the A18 Pro, are the larger Super Retina XDR displays with ProMotion which increases in size. Apple now offers a 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch screen found on the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max respectively. Apple also reduced the bezels in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
The Camera now offers a 48MP Fusion, 48MP Ultra Wide, and 12MP Telephoto lens with Smart HDR 5. Moreover, video recording can now capture 4K resolution up to 120fps (via Fusion), all with Dolby Vision. Apple also introduced machine learning features to video captures to reduce noise.
Apple also highlighted the improvements in its batteries.
It's Glowtime's Other Announcements
Apart from the new iPhone 16 series, there were still a lot of other devices that were unveiled during the September 2024 Fall event of the company, mostly focusing on renowned accessories of its smartphone. There was also a back-to-back Apple Watch release from Cupertino, but the Series 10 was the only new device unveiled by the company, as the Ultra 2 only had the new 'Black Titanium' colorway.
Moreover, Apple also unveiled the latest AirPods, a.k.a. the 4th-generation releases which featured two variants that now sport USB-C charging, with one featuring a budget-friendly pricing, and the other the more premium version with Active Noise Cancelation.
Lastly, there was the refreshed AirPods Max which also features USB-C charging and new colors to choose from.
