The much-awaited Deadpool & Wolverine movie recently opened last weekend and saw a box office success among fans, and this led to fans revisiting other media representations of the character, including Activision's Deadpool from 2013.

However, it is now hard to own a copy of the game, and considering that it is more than ten years ago, those who have it are already selling it at a significantly higher price. Fans are given different choices for their Deadpool game experience as it was released on PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 originally, but was also released for the Xbox One and PS4 consoles later.

Data from Price Charting revealed a massive spike in Activision and High Moon Studios' Deadpool game from 2013, seeing it climb to as much as double its price. This centers on the original 2013 release on the PS3 and Xbox 360, as well as the 2015 release for the last-gen consoles.

For the PS3 version, Deadpool's highest price reached $41.30 from $21.99, and in the Xbox 360, its highest saw a $39.58 pricing from $18.48.

However, the biggest jump is in its PlayStation 4 version where it was previously valued at $87.02 but has been listed by as much as $149.99. On the other hand, its Xbox One version sells for as much as $77.

Additionally, the GBA hack which modded the game to feature Wade Wilson also saw a price jump to $97.

It was revealed that one of the reasons for this massive price increase jump was because of its recent movie, as well as the game now rare as copies are hard to find after being delisted.

Deadpool & Wolverine Sees Box Office Success

Now that Deadpool and the X-Men are back in Marvel officially, Deadpool & Wolverine made a significant crossover movie that turned it into one of the biggest films of the franchise. It is known for breaking many records at the box office, and according to Variety, its first weekend opened with $205 million, considering it is an R-rated film.

Deadpool's Legacy: From Zero to Anti-Hero

The 2009  X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie from 20th Century Fox was all kinds of wrong for comic book enthusiasts and fans of the franchise, with many considering it a 'flop.' Ryan Reynolds has worked his Hollywood magic in pushing for a comic-accurate version of the anti-hero with the 2016 Deadpool movie, claiming that this was the "right" adaptation.

In this release, it saw significant applause from fans and movie enthusiasts because of its accurate depiction of the Merc with a Mouth. Despite all of these, there are still no "proper" video game adaptations for the Regenerating Degenerate, particularly as his solo game faced a tough crowd in its 2013 launch and 2015 re-release.

Deadpool 3, a.k.a. Deadpool & Wolverine, recently dropped in theaters and it already found success at the box office for its significant reprisal of Hugh Jackman as the famed X-Man, as well as Reynold's return as Deady-pool. With the massive hype on the new movie, fans are now turning to its most recent video game adaptation from 2013 and 2015, and despite its poor reviews, it is an on-demand title now.
