According to Bethesda, players may unlock these new characters via Lunchboxes, which can be purchased in the Shop using Nuka Cola. Cooper Howard, on the other hand, may be unlocked for free by playing the game until Thursday, July 25.

Fallout's Renowned Franchise

The renowned Fallout franchise started with humble beginnings back when it was released by Interplay Entertainment, created by developers Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky. It started as a post-apocalyptic role-playing game (RPG) and has later evolved as an action RPG which is set as a first-person shooter, with each game offering significant focuses on different canons of the franchise.

Apart from its iconic adventure-type action game, its transfer to Bethesda also delivered significant spinoffs to the franchise, including a mobile-focused release back in 2015 known as Fallout Shelter.

The already famous franchise further cemented its legacy and pop culture significance thanks to the live-action adaptation by Bethesda and Amazon Prime Video with the Fallout series that premiered earlier this year.

Since the release of the Prime Video series adaptation, it sparked a renewed interest in the Fallout franchise whichinvited more people to join the craze or rediscover it, especially with new updates to its games. These updates from Bethesda also reached its free-to-play management simulation game, with Fallout Shelter now adding a new batch of vaulties for all.
