Meta is now offering a way for Threads users to create new feeds based on almost all kinds of topics they wish to see on the social media platform, and they only need to search for it. By offering this new feature, Threads expands moreon the experiences available on the feed and delivers specific topics to one's liking, available to all users to enjoy.
Previously, users are only allowed to choose among various kinds of available content on the home page, either for the most popular posts, following feed, or by chronological order.
Meta Threads Now Allow Users to Create New Feeds via Search
Several users who noticed the latest update from Meta shared that a new Threads feature is available to check out and enjoy on the platform, allowing them to create new feeds via the search results. It was noted that this feature allowsusers to "bookmark" specific topics by searching for them, and it will be saved as a new feed that they can easily visit whenever they wish to.
After searching for a topic, instead of only getting search results one time and needing to look for it again after doing so, users may now create these dedicated feeds based on their liking.
It will be saved via the app and be part of the "Feed" options alongside the likes of Following, Liked, or Saved posts.

Search for Certain Topics to Create New Threads Feeds
It was also regarded that this new Threads feature is similar to having the TweetDeck experience on mobile, with the renowned API-based feature on Twitter known for being PC-exclusive. Moreover, the TweetDeck was recently removed from the platform of X, but it was later developed by the company and was called the 'X Pro,' and was hiddenbehind a paywall.
Meta Threads and Its Offers on the Feed
One of the most popular features on social media now is having everything available in one place, with different kinds of platforms offering an all-in-one experience, a.k.a. centralization. Meta's Threads, while dedicated to offering the text-based experience for Instagram, has first delivered a specific type of feed that offers the most popular results based on one's algorithm, a.k.a. the 'For You.'
However, users were not that excited about seeing an algorithm-based home feed when browsing Threads, particularly as its rival, X (formerly Twitter), offered different kinds of options for this.
It was not long after these comments were shared for Meta to adopt a new kind of experience on Threads whichdebuted the chronological feed content experience for all.
Moreover, there is also the popular option of also seeing the 'Following' feed which focuses more on a person's followed users on Threads, allowing them to be updated to friends or mutuals latest scoops. With these available content and experiences on Threads, Meta decided that adding a way to customize the feed is another way to go, allowing users to create new ones via the search results.
