The latest from Cupertino's take on AI is Apple Intelligence, and it is an experience that it wants to be available on almost all of its upcoming devices, centering on entry-level or budget iPhones and iPads. One of the most popular contenders for Apple Intelligence would be the iPhone SE 4th generation, a rumored budget smartphone getting an upgrade soon.

It was revealed that this would be possible via Apple's latest chipsets to equip the said devices, mainly with the A18 Bionic SoC.

The latest rumor from 9to5Mac offers an insight into the future of Apple Intelligence's availability, with the new reportclaiming that it will be coming to entry-level and budget iPhones and iPads as well. It is important to note that despite being entry-level variants, Apple Intelligence will only arrive on these devices if they are new releases.

This is because they will be equipped with the latest chipset from Cupertino that will make offering Apple Intelligence possible for users.

In this report, it centered on the upcoming A18 Bionic chip from Apple, with several devices speculated to receive it including the iPhone 16 series, iPhone SE 4th generation, and possibly, a new iPad Classic and iPad Mini 7.

The iPhone SE 4 is Coming with A18 to Bring Apple Intelligence

A previous rumor from renowned leaker, Ice Universe, claimed that Apple will equip the iPhone SE 4 with the A18 chipset, and connecting the dots between both reports suggests that Apple Intelligence is coming to the budget smartphone.

There are no confirmations or more concrete evidence behind these rumors yet, as it is also possible that Apple will only use the A16 chipset for the iPhone SE 4 and not arrive with the AI.

Apple Intelligence and the iPhone SE 4

The most advanced development now from Cupertino is Apple Intelligence, and its latest iteration will only be available on the iPhone 15 Pro series before the iPhone 16 gets this once it releases. Despite iOS 18 being available to devices from the iPhone XR, XS, and SE 3rd generation or later, not all of these would get access to its promising AI.

For the past years, there have been rumors behind the next-generation iPhone SE 4, an upgraded version of the budget smartphone from Cupertino that will no longer be in the iPhone 8's body. It will now adopt the home button-less design alongside a notch or possibly, a pill-shaped Dynamic Island from Apple, but more importantly, rumors claim it will receive the latest chipset.

With the iPhone SE 4 coming soon, there is not much information about what it has to offer, especially with the slur of new technology from Apple since its last outing in 2022. That being said, budget or entry-level iPhones and iPads are part of the plan for Apple Intelligence's arrival, and that would be made possible by using the latest SoCs, setting up an exciting future for Cupertino's upcoming releases.
