SNK and Capcom's Iconic Fighting Games
Japanese gaming companies are renowned competitors in the market, especially for those who offer arcade fighting experiences which were extremely popular in the past, and regarded for being the pillars of modern gaming. Capcom was among the most iconic with its original Street Fighter which was first released in arcades back in 1987.
Capcom's development of the franchise spanned a massive global phenomenon, with the company's most recent offer centering on Street Fighter 6.
On the other hand, there is SNK's iconic King of Fighters franchise, best known to have been a stellar title in the market, and its most recent release being King of Fighters XV released in 2021.
Its iconic partnership took place in 2003 with SNK vs. Capcom, similar to previous crossovers by Capcom with the Marvel franchise which began with X-Men vs. Street Fighter in 1996. This iconic return offers a retro-gaming experience for all, made available to modern gaming platforms like the PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, GOG, and PC, centering on the all-out action with SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.
