Street Fighter 6: Outfit 3 Pack is Coming, What to Expect

CAPCOM finally unveiled new looks for its characters.

CAPCOM's massive treat for gamers is soon to make its debut, as the company already revealed it earlier, centering on Street Fighter 6's upcoming Outfit 3 pack. Since the game launched, there have only been limited costumes for characters in the game, with most players stuck with only two options for months on end.

SF6's competitors saw significant skins, outfits, costumes, and other customization feats available in their respective games, including the recent arrival of NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Games' Mortal Kombat 1.

CAPCOM released the Street Fighter 6 Outfit 3 showcase trailer that details the upcoming new looks that will help customize the appearance of characters in the game. One of its main promises is that all 18 launch fighters will get a new outfit for each of them, exclusive to these original characters which arrived in its base version.

This means that characters who arrived via DLCs would not receive new outfits including the likes of A.K.I., Rashid, and Ed. It was regarded by ComicBook Gaming that they will have a special release come 2024, joining the arrival of renowned SF5 villain, Akuma.

CAPCOM also revealed that the Outfit 3 pack will arrive by December 10 to all users.

CAPCOM's Design for Outfit 3

The Developer's Column from CAPCOM detailed the design inspirations of all 18 characters, with some of the most notable including Guile, Ryu, Blanka, and Zangief. In the trailer, it showed Honda's version of Outfit 3, but was not discussed by the devs in this release.

SF6's new takes via the Outfit 3 pack aim to reimagine these Street Fighters in their other focuses, showing more of their other personas apart from all the violence and menacing looks. Also, the Year 2 DLC pack is also expected for a new round of characters to join the brawl.

Street Fighter 6

One of the most popular action fighting arcade franchises in the gaming industry is still Street Fighter, with CAPCOM launching the latest installment of the series last year. Street Fighter 6 promised to bring massive features and new experiences for all gamers, and the company delivered on iconic new features including the new Battle Hub, its take for an online metaverse-esque experience.

SF6 also allowed gamers to fight entirely by sound, with its controls triggered by acoustic feats and providing its players with audio cues regarding their gameplay. This feature offered significant accessibility for those with difficulties and disabilities, making the game more reachable for them, with Capcom centering on inclusion.

After a year since Street Fighter 6 was released, it reached a different level of gaming and maturity, offering significant experiences in its world, as well as the solo character stories available.

However, arcade fighting games reach a point where gamers get bored, especially with few updates arriving, something which customization options may fix with CAPCOM's upcoming Outfit 3.
