Crossovers usually happen in the video game world, and One Piece x Street Fighter 6 is one of the gamers' most famous requests. Some fans have already found a way to mix their favorite characters in different game titles.
A new viral clip on the internet shows off a full recreation of One Piece's famed pirate captain, Monkey D. Luffy, who has broken his way through to Street Fighter 6.
One Piece x Street Fighter 6? Fan Made Luffy in the Game
Shonen Jump and CAPCOM did not have a collaboration, but why is Luffy in the new Street Fighter game? The arrival of Luffy is not an official collaboration, but it was made possible through Street Fighter 6's avatar customization, which allows players to create almost anyone and anything.
The maker of the viral video was able to recreate one of anime's biggest stars due to the game's new single-player store mode, in which players can create their own avatars and stack them with different special moves from across Street Fighter 6's character roster.
Many character creations became famous in the past days, but Luffy's arrival in Street Fighter 6 went viral as it captured the essence of the Devil Fruit bearer.
This was made possible through CAPCOM's new single-player store mode called World Tour and the Battle Hub feature, which, at first, would ask gamers to create avatars that they could customize with different powers, looks, and more.

Luffy Features Iconic Stretching Powers in 'Street Fighter 6'
The viral clip shows Luffy complete with his red vest, straw hat, denim shorts, and slippers. He also got his iconic Gomu Gomu techniques like the Pistol, Whip, and barrage attacks.
Dhalsim's stretching capabilities helped capture one of Luffy's iconic techniques, like a rubber band, seemingly a perfect fit for the game. It may even set up the possibility of a Luffy vs. Dhalsim fight in the future, should the creator deem so.
'One Piece' and 'Street Fighter 6'
Among the many wonders of what Japan has given the world are iconic anime adaptations of renowned mangas and spectacular video games from the past until now. One Piece remains one of the world's most beloved mangas and series, with its books already seeing more than 1,000 chapters in 106 tankōbon volumes as of July 2023.
With the many fights and lovable characters, "One Piece" has the potential to bring a match to famed fighters in different video games like "Street Fighter," "Tekken," "Super Smash Bros.," or even a darker take with "Mortal Kombat."
CAPCOM recently released "Street Fighter 6," and the game brought massive developments compared to its previous release, including this new character creation mode. Luffy's addition is significant as it made a possible integration of the Straw Hat pirate into Capcom's legendary fighting series.
