This new unveiling by Xiaomi also teases what its foldable smartphone would offer for users, showing off its massive cover screen which covers the entire display, also offering its latest design.
In this revelation, the company went ahead of its upcoming showcase this Friday, its official event that will debut the new foldable phone to the world.

The founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has unveiled the Xiaomi Mix Flip smartphone to the world via a post on X, now showing off the upcoming foldable device and what it has to offer. On its first look alone, it revealed the flip device's different offers to users, boasting of its large outer screen that can output various displays like Photos, Time, and access to several apps.
According to Lei Jun, this new outer screen is "highly functional," and he regarded that users no longer need to open the device to enjoy several features.
Not much was unveiled with this teaser from the Xiaomi CEO, but it confirmed that this is another device that is in collaboration with Leica for its cameras.
The Mix Flip smartphone was revealed a few days earlier with its upcoming official event which will showcase the new foldable come Friday, July 19. Xiaomi's move to adopt a larger outer screen and add functional and usable experiences here follows the flip-type smartphone trends in the market which expanded its features, first done by Oppo.
