There are two massive updates on Spotify coming for its podcast experience. First, it allows fans and listeners to join the conversation with a new comment feature. On the other hand, Spotify is enhancing the interactive experience for content creators with the latest 'Podcasters' app, which will help them manage their content better and get in touch with their audience.

Expanding on a previous Q&A feature on Spotify Podcasts, the music streaming platform looks to promote interactivity between creators and listeners for an improved experience for all.

Spotify Podcasts Now Allow Users to Comment on Uploads

Spotify's latest For the Record blog post introduced its latest feature on its podcast experience: Comments, which allows listeners and users to share insights and opinions on a certain episode. The music streaming company claimed that Comments had been a long-requested feature by creators and users, evolving from its previous format.

According to Spotify, Podcasts have been one-sided for so long, but this Comments feature opens up a way for both creators and their audience to interact via the dedicated comments section.

This feature was born from Spotify's previous polls and Q&A feature, which took insights from listeners and allowed creators to respond.

Spotify Podcasters App: Interactivity for Creators

Apart from that, Spotify is also expanding on the Podcasters platform, previously available on desktop only, with a new mobile app for content creators to enjoy. Interactivity is the main purpose of the Podcasters app, claims Spotify, and it is a way for creators to connect better with their audience and learn more about them for improved content in the future.

Spotify and Its Massive Upgrade for Podcasts

Podcasts are one of Spotify's most renowned features, next to its music streaming experience. They allow users to listen to stories and different kinds of content from various creators. Last year, there was a massive crackdown on Spotify Podcasts as the company removed the white noise uploads that were known for having the potential to be profitable.

It is not the first time that Spotify has looked into improving the experience for content creators who bring their podcasts online. The company delivered a massive tool that helps significantly. This is called the 'Podcast Audio Enhancement,' which offers a one-button press to isolate sound for creators, making it clearer and more focused on the voice.

For many years, Podcasts on Spotify have proved to be one of the most visited experiences on the platform, which improves one's access or subscription to the app as an all-in-one audio entertainment platform. Now, Spotify is looking to enhance the experience with Comments for listeners and the new Podcasters app for creators to help expand interactivity among all.
