WB Games' famed action-arcade fighting game, MultiVersus, is known for occasionally expanding its roster, but a new teaser from its team somehow confirms that Mortal Kombat's Scorpion will make an appearance in the game. This latest development is massive, as many fans and studios have reacted to the teaser behind the renowned character from the brutal fighting game. 

Previous MultiVersus leaks and speculations also looked into massive crossovers from titles under Warner Bros., with the likes of the DC Universe, Cartoon Network, and more appearing in the game.

WB Games' MultiVersus Teases Mortal Kombat's Scorpion

A new post from an artist shared a rendered image that imagines Mortal Kombat's Scorpion to be part of the MultiVersus game, but this post did not indicate that he is coming to the game. However, chaos and massive excitement erupted when AJAX replied with the side-eye emoji to the post, teasing that the character may be coming soon. 

AJAX is known to be a community manager for MultiVersus, and their comment led to the widespread belief that this is a teaser for the future when Scorpion will be added to the game. 

Players and fans quickly picked up on AJAX's comment and began speculating about the possibility of Scorpion's crossover to the game.

Will Scorpion Join the MultiVersus Fighting Game? 

Scorpion is one of the most famous characters available in the Mortal Kombat franchise, and he has been part of the game since day one. With MultiVersus and Mortal Kombat both being owned by Warner Bros., there is a possibility that Scorpion may cross into the multiverse and join the arcade fighting game soon. 

However, there are still no confirmations that the famed ninja will be coming to the game, so take this rumor with a grain of salt.

MultiVersus and What It Offers

It was back in 2021 when MultiVersus was first leaked online, with many data miners catching wind of Warner Bros. Games' latest development, centering on a cartoon-style arcade fighting game coming. It was later confirmed months later that the game is a reality, also opening up its playtest experiences for gamers to enjoy what it offers. 

One of the main selling points of MultiVersus is its wide array of characters from its roster to join the brawl against other iconic names from Warner Bros. The game is best known for introducing characters from Hanna-Barbera's Looney Tunes, like Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian, and more, as well as Game of Thrones, Adventure Time, and DC heroes and villains, among many others. 

Various other characters were introduced later on, and over the years, its roster was expanded, offering more beloved characters from famed movies or television series. The game was only fully released in 2024 and is available as a free-to-play title. The devs promised more characters to join, including a possible arrival of the renowned ninja from the MK series, Scorpion.
