A new leak shows the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6's renders of what they would supposedly look like in this latest update, offering fresh designs for the foldables. This latest leak appeared ahead of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for July 10, announced by the company, which gave hints about the foldables' dedicated unveiling.
With the yearly updates from Samsung, it will unveil a new set of foldable smartphones this year, with many speculations behind new improvements and, possibly, Galaxy AI.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6, Z Flip6 Renders Leak Show New Looks
Renowned leaker and analyst Evan Blass shared new photos depicting the vertical folding Z Flip6 and the horizontal folding Z Fold6, which are new renders of the upcoming smartphones from Samsung. As depicted in the latest leaks, the devices have slight design changes and refreshes, offering an updated look compared to last year's.
First, the Z Flip6 will still feature flat edges. Its rear display will be similar to last year's design, with a bigger interactive screen for users.
Next, the Z Fold6 showed off a sleeker body but offers a larger cover screen. Like previous releases, it has a three-camera lens setup.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event: What to Expect?
While design-wise, there were only minor changes and tweaks; it is expected that the Samsung foldable that will be released in early July will equip the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors as part of its upgrade. As for Galaxy AI, these devices may also feature the latest capabilities, following the Galaxy S24 series released earlier this year.
Samsung's Upcoming Foldables and Its Features
There have been many leaks and talks about what the new Samsung foldables will deliver for this release, particularly as the South Korean tech giant will shake things up with these models. First, there are beliefs that Samsung will introduce a new variant for the Galaxy Z Fold6, the first entry-level variant of its foldable that will make it more affordable for users.
However, leaks suggest that it will not bring another variant and would only center on one of each from both lineups of the foldable. This is because the company felt like there was not much distinction between the entry-level lineup and the other versions from its release. Its second reason centers on the "market conditions" and how it may outshine other variants.
The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will answer the many questions people have about the new Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, centering on the company's upcoming releases for this year. The latest leaked renders evidently show a design refresh, but the leaker did not reveal much more about what the device will deliver, with the nearing event debuting it for all.
