Crunchyroll, the popular site for anime, announced Thursday the expansion of its Crunchyroll Game Vault library, adding over a dozen new titles.
Previously, the Game Vault offered 11 titles exclusively to Mega and Ultimate subscribers. Now, 15 more games are set to join the lineup including Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness and Steins; Gate.
Enhanced Gaming Experience for Crunchyroll Subscribers
Subscribers to Crunchyroll's Mega and Ultimate plans, priced at $10 and $15 respectively, can access these games without ads or in-app purchases at no extra cost. This move enhances the value of their subscriptions and provides a seamless, enjoyable gaming experience.

How to Access Crunchyroll Game Vault
If you're a Mega or Ultimate subscriber, accessing the Crunchyroll Game Vault is simple, according to CNET.
- Open the Crunchyroll app.
- Tap on Crunchyroll Game Vault on the homepage.
- Select the game you wish to download, and you'll be directed to the game's page on either Apple's App Store or the Google Play Store.
Initially, the Game Vault was only accessible to consistent top-tier subscribers. It featured five games, such as the fighting game River City Girls and the puzzle game Inbento. Over time, more titles like Hime's Quest and ExZeus: The Complete Collection were added, steadily growing the library.
Crunchyroll is Not the Only Streaming Service to Join Gaming Trend
Crunchyroll is the latest video streaming service to integrate gaming into its subscription offerings.
Netflix set a precedent by offering games to its members in 2021. However, unlike Netflix, where all subscribers have access to games, Crunchyroll restricts Game Vault access to its Mega and Ultimate plans, excluding the Fan tier.
