Oh childhood, the time when we used to fight nap time to watch our favorite, cuddly purple dinosaur Barney every afternoon. But if you are feeling nostalgic and looking to rewatch Barney And Friends, then beware what you look up.
Fox's Animation Domination High-Def (ADHD) released a new video in its "Scientifically Accurate" series that makes us see Barney is a whole new light. Destroying our childhood memories as a lovable, purple T-Rex from the '90s, this Barney video is part terrifying, part absolutely hilarious.
This Barney does not dance and skip around, sing songs, educate small children or give out hugs. Instead, this purple dinosaur shreds through the children's school, presenting them with a slaughtered cow, before terrorizing them.
"He's a T-Rex, ripping flesh is what his arms where used for," the female narrator sings.
This Barney bites a small child, in which the child dies from an infection, as the narrator warns the children to get away from him. "Why the hell's he in our house, and why are you trying to hug him," the hilarious lyrics continue following the Barney theme song tune.
The children are eaten one-by-one, resulting in lots of blood and mayhem. The narrator also points out he would not only eat children in real life, but also his other dinosaur friends.
"Also the last thing you'll want from a T-Rex is the 'I Love You, You Love Me' song," she sings, since these dinosaurs were known to be packing in the below the belt department.
But in reality, is the real Barney really less terrifying?
