The much-anticipated sequel to Electronic Arts' skateboarding game, Skate 4, has recently been teased for a possible game reveal at the upcoming Summer Game Fest.

This latest teaser is massive, as the last fans and gamers received from EA regarding the sequel game was years ago. The upcoming reveal will offer more concrete details about the game.

Skate 4 Reveal Coming This Summer Game Fest, Teaser Suggests

A new skate teaser via an X post mentions a new website behind a retro company called The M Corp. While it did not explicitly mention the game, there are already plenty of clues that it is about Skate 4

First, it is regarded that M Corp. is San Vansterdam's largest investment conglomerate, and the city is known to be the game's setting where players get to explore.

Additionally, it offered a dedicated 1990s-to-2000s-inspired website that details who and what the company is about. However, the hidden gem lies beneath the many links that, when clicked, take users to a registration page for Skate 4's playtest.

EA's Skate 4 insider playtest registration site said that users may join this program to get a firsthand experience of the upcoming game, addressing the long wait for the sequel.

What to Expect from Electronic Arts' Skate 4?

EA's closed playtest for Skate 4 will offer an early experience of the upcoming game, which suggests it is finishing its development with a few kinks to sort out. This teaser is believed to be a hint regarding a massive Skate 4 reveal for the upcoming Summer Game Fest, with EA as one of its partners.

This possible reveal may bring news regarding the free-to-play game's official release date in the future.

EA's Renowned Skate Franchise

Among the most iconic skateboarding games in the past decades was Electronic Arts' take on Skate. The first game came out in 2007 on the PS2,  followed closely by Skate It in 2008, then Skate 2 in 2009, and the last in 2010 with Skate 3

However, EA did not follow up on the franchise until the 2020 pandemic by announcing Skate 4.

After this, EA  announced a new studio to lead the game's development, and in 2021, Full Circle assumed command of this Skate sequel. It was also during this time that EA and Full Circle showed the early behind-the-scenes footage of Skate 4, and this alone excited gamers for what would arrive in the future.

Since the game's confirmation and first early footage, there has been no word on Skate 4's release date, which is already taking a long time to follow up on its last release. EA and Full Circle's latest teaser may have a cryptic message behind it, but it talks about the game's future setting, San Vansterdam. Many consider this teaser a hint to an upcoming reveal at the Summer Game Fest.
