Meta's Threads has been growing in popularity and users in recent months, and in addition to new features, an array of third-party experiences are also popping up. Enter the 'ThreadsDeck,' a new platform that effectively offers a novel content management platform for Threads that has significant similarities to Twitter's former TweetDeck.
It is known that Twitter/X's TweetDeck is now defunct, and this is not thanks to last year's massive API changes, which charged developers massive fees and led to many leaving them behind.
Threads Get 'ThreadsDeck,' Similar to Twitter's TweetDeck
The latest update to Meta's Threads web experience is the so-called "column view," with users referring to it as the "ThreadsDeck" that makes content management easier. It was nicknamed that way as it is reminiscent of the TweetDeck, a previous API-based management platform for Twitter that was no longer available after Musk's API pricing hike.
The only caveat to Threads' latest feature is that it is only available for the web experience, and this does not require using a third-party platform.
From the single-column web view, users may turn it into a collection of columns, a.k.a. decks, which are customizable based on the user's preferences.
Users may set a certain column with their favorite searches, saved posts, accounts, and more, allowing them to better keep tabs on what matters most to them.

Content Management Platform for the Threads Experience
The "ThreadsDeck" can pin up to 100 columns of different feeds on a page, but the "For You" algorithm-based display will still be displayed on default. However, users may get a chance to hide it by minimizing the said column if they do not prefer to see Meta's feed.
In this new Threads web experience, users may get more information in real time while offering a familiar experience for users that is easily navigatable and accessible.
Meta's Threads is Growing With New Features
Meta's frequent and various updates have given Threads a lot to offer for its users to experience on the platform, centering on familiar and new features on text-based social media. One notable addition is its version of a content verification and fact-checking body on Threads that is reminiscent of X's Community Notes.
Meta also recently added a feature that offers more experiences on the platform, which delivers live sports results in partnership with the NBA. This feature allows fans to search live scores from an NBA game right on Threads, offering the chance for real-time engagements for fans monitoring the game via Meta's social media.
Threads made it clear that it wants to grow more of its platform and rival its competitors who are famous in the text-based social media experiences like X. TweetDeck made Twitter's platform more manageable, making it an excellent experience for managers to optimize their usage, with the same experience now available on Threads, optimized to get the job done.
