The highly awaited Assassin's Creed Codename Red is now officially revealed as Assassin's Creed Shadows, and new leaks regarding the game's release date, Season Pass, and more will appease gamers worldwide.
It took a long time for Assassin's Creed's Japan-based and ninja-focused game to be first announced, and many were excited about its upcoming release.
Assassin's Creed Shadows Leak: Release Date Revealed
If you are awaiting FX's Shogun for its next season, there might be an experience that could replicate it for you coming earlier than 2025, as Ubisoft accidentally revealed Assassin's Creed Shadows' release date.
First spotted by Andreaalex2001 and reposted by Wario64, a renowned games leaker, the trailer's May 15 premiere was followed by Ubisoft's reveal of the game's release date, which is November 15.
This is the first time that Ubisoft has confirmed the game's release date via its official YouTube account, but if you look at the trailer premier placeholder, the date is already gone.
While this was a slip on Ubisoft's end, take this with a grain of salt. There are plenty of reasons for a game's delay or not following its intended drop.
Assassin's Creed Shadows Ultimate Edition, Season Pass
On the other hand, frax86 shared another leak regarding Assassin's Creed Shadows' Ultimate Edition and Season Pass.
The game's Season Pass costs around $40 and offers one questline, "Origami Killer," which is believed to be DLC.
On the other hand, the Ultimate Edition of Shadows will give players five skill points, which is the only information the leaker got on the pricier version.
Lastly, the pre-order is called "Thrown to the Dogs," but the leaker is not sure if this means items or Quests, and more will be revealed in the future.
Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Franchise
It takes Ubisoft a long time to deliver new Assassin's Creed games as the franchise does not release on an annual cycle, but that does not mean that it is already defunct.
Ubisoft Forward's return last 2022 also revealed a massive roadmap of Assassin's Creed games from two years ago, detailing the yearly releases it would have, with last year centering on AC Mirage and this year, the so-called Codename Red.
That year, the gaming company also revealed Assassin's Creed Infinity to the world, detailing the massive future of the franchise and how it will feature multiple timelines and stories to follow.
There are already titles in place for the future, with Ubisoft looking to be more active with one of its prized game franchises. Upcoming content is expected to bring significant developments.
Massive hype took over Codename Red when it first caught wind as the land of the samurai and ninja will be featured in the game, a first in the game franchise's history.
Assassin's Creed Shadows will have its official trailer premiere this May 15. The company has a slip that revealed its release date, and other leaks reveal details about its Ultimate Edition and Season Pass for later this year.
