This May 4, the unofficial Star Wars day, will see an enjoyable skirmish in the battle royale as the Fortnite x Star Wars crossover drops a little earlier than the renowned commemoration day.

It brings a massive drop from the game as it features six characters to enjoy, three of which are available in the battle royale featuring the one and only Wookie rebel, Chewbacca. 

Apart from Han Solo's trusty partner, there is also Luke Skywalker and Lando Calrissian, new LEGO character skins, and an assortment of new items. 

Fortnite x Star Wars Crossover is Here Before May 4

This centers on five character skins to enjoy from the game, with three centering on the main battle royale experience and the other three for LEGO Fortnite.

First, Chewbacca enters the game, and the Wookie will be available to unlock after defeating the Imperial Roadblock.

After accomplishing this mission, Chewie will join players and gift them with the Wookie Bowcaster weapon, his iconic blaster in the film franchise.

Next up, Dagobah-themed Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, and AWR Trooper outfits would be available to purchase in the shop starting May 3 with v29.40's release.

What to Expect in The New Fortnite x Star Wars

Apart from these, the Fortnite x Star Wars crossover is also heading to LEGO Fortnite together with the Dagobah Luke, Lando, and AWR Trooper Outfits. 

On the other hand, users would also see Darth Vader's Lightsaber up for grabs after defeating the Sith lord himself.  Moreover, an AWR Back Bling is also up for grabs when completing the Star Wars Quests.

There will also be a special Fortnite Festival feature of Star Wars with Mos Eisley's Cantina and the Seven-string Hallikset guitar, which will be unlockable after completing the Quests.

Lastly, old Star Wars skins will be available in the Shop featuring the original and new trilogy characters. 

Fortnite x Star Wars in the Past

It is safe to say that Fortnite is a massive fan of Star Wars. On several occasions, the game released new crossovers from the renowned space franchise of George Lucas during the May 4th commemoration day.

In 2020, Fortnite brought new Lightsabers to choose from, offering users the renowned Jedi and Sith weapons. 

The most recent Star Wars crossover was seen last year, with Fortnite dropping this new content right before the May 4 event, featuring new skins, items, and more to choose from.

This mostly featured prequel characters from Episodes I to III, like Jedi Anakin Skywalker, Queen Padme, and Darth Maul joining the game following Obi-Wan Kenobi's 2022 release on Battle Island.

The massive Star Wars franchise is not yet out of characters for future Fortnite crossovers for May 4 events, featuring more of the pop culture space representation that is near and dear to the world.

For the first time, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian are joining the battle island mayhem with their rootin' tootin' space adventure, alongside Luke in his Dagobah outfit, LEGO characters, and special items to enjoy now and on the May 4 day.
