Konami's Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is now being teased by the actor behind the game's protagonist voice, David Hayter, who even goes as far as to say it is "spectacular."
This game is best known as the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater's remake, with the developers only tweaking its title, and promises a newfound experience to the renowned classic in a better format.
The 2004 game is best known for its success, centering on the compelling story from the Metal Gear franchise's creator, Hideo Kojima.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Teased to Be 'Spectacular'
David Hayter, the actor best known for playing Solid Snake and The Big Boss, teased a video of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's start page on his post via X. Here, the actor confirmed that he played the opening of MGS Delta until the bridge scene but did not reveal any further details about what it has to offer.
For those familiar with the bridge scene, it is roughly one hour of gameplay from the original Metal Gear Solid 3. Hayter has already played a good chunk of the game, but it has not yet gone through its entirety.
Hayter regarded the game as "spectacular" but did not detail much of the experience.
To date, Konami only released an announcement trailer and the first in-engine look of the game on MGS Delta's website, teasing what the remake has to offer for gamers.
MGS Delta: Snake Eater is Coming in 2024
PlayStation's previous revelations about games coming in 2024 included Metal Gear Solid Delta, which suggests that the game is slated for this year's release. However, no hints or statements from Konami have been officially released.
The MGS3 remake claims that the jungle will be improved, with cutting-edge graphics and 3D audio to the classic title while still capturing its stealth, action, and survival setting in this beloved title.
Metal Gear Solid Remake Developments
There have been massive projects from Konami that will resurrect its famed games and make them fit for today's industry standards for gaming, like high-definition quality, improved audio, and more.
One of the released projects by Konami was Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which was made available on various platforms like the PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and more.
Alongside this, Konami is also focusing its efforts on bringing back Silent Hill 2, remaking the original hit game for the modern gaming platforms available now.
Last year, Konami already shared a teaser video for Metal Gear Solid 3's remake, offering a glimpse of what is to come, showing off the improved quality of Solid Snake and the environment around him.
The classic story of MGS3: Snake Eater is still captured by the upcoming remake despite the name tweak and improvements done to the title.
Hayter's latest revelation showed that he already has a copy of the game. He touts the massive gaming experiences and suggests that it is coming soon, hopefully for a 2024 release date, soon to be confirmed by Konami.
