As IGN reported on Thursday, Oct. 26, Konami showed the gameplay of the upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake.

Based on the video, it is powered by Unreal Engine 5. The first in-engine video features a stunning forest setting. It boasts a realistic touch: from the design of the place to the texture of the mountains, grasses, and other environmental stuff.

Moreover, the camera angle looks breathtaking and you can see the close-up shots of the crocodile, snake, and frog.

Running Metal Gear Solid 3 on Epic's Unreal Engine 5 would mean that more aesthetic looks are expected to be seen upon the game's launch.

Back in May, a rumor suggested that the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake could potentially be a PS5 exclusive. It was initially called "Metal Gear OSlid Delta: Snake Eater," as revealed during the Sony State of Play showcase.

Metal Gear Solid-Master Collection Volume 1

If you're a die-hard Metal Gear fan from back in the day, you can't just let this opportunity to play the old games once again pass you by.

RockPaperShotgun reports that the Metal Gear Solid-Master Collection Volume 1 is now available.

Aside from MGS3, the collection also includes the original Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for MSX2, Metal Gear Solid PS1, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty from PS2.

The best part when you get this is the bonuses that await you such as the official Metal Gear soundtrack, MSG digital graphics novels, and standalone sequel Snake's Revenge which is a NES trademark.

Again, the most exciting game that every fan wants to play as soon as possible is MGS3. The PC version of the game is out so you can now enjoy playing the HD remaster edition.

If you have finished the original installment, you might as well want to explore the remake version. This way, you can compare their differences especially when it comes to visuals and gameplay.

Since the collection is still new, expect to see more patches from Konami. Right now, the company is working to fix some bugs for the MGS titles.

The Metal Gear Solid 3 remake will reportedly feature fullscreen-windowed mode for a more immersive gaming experience. Don't forget to watch the cutscenes and feel the background music as if you're just playing the game on your old console.

For open-world adventurers, you can play Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
