Minecraft's many crossovers and additional content are getting a simpler access for gamers in the new Marketplace Pass, and this turns the Marketplace into an all-in-one subscription access for the latest it has to offer. Instead of individual purchases for the extra content, Mojang Studios stepped up to turn this into a subscription that makes access easier and more affordable.
In this new offer, gamers may have the chance to access the plethora of content available on the sandbox game and would no longer need to buy it separately to enjoy.
Minecraft x Marketplace Pass: New Subscription for All Extra Content
Mojang announced its latest Minecraft x Marketplace Pass which transforms the way gamers access the extra content available in the game, with a premium subscription to all paid experiences in the game. Instead of buying it individually at a one-time purchase, Mojang will now allow Minecraft players to use the subscription to gain access to it all.
This means that all crossovers available in the game are available to access now, and this includes more than 150 creator-made content like worlds, skin packs, and more.
Additionally, Minecraft also offers a Character Creator item set that Mojang offers for free each month, allowing this feature to bring gamers the chance to design a new avatar in-game.
Mojang Brings Marketplace Pass Subscription for All to Access
The Minecraft Marketplace Pass subscription is available to purchase for $3.99 per month, with Mojang offering a one-month free trial to start.
The only catch with this new Minecraft subscription is that its content would rotate monthly, offering various crossovers, DLCs, and more to experience differently each cycle.
Minecraft and its Additional Content to Enjoy
The best-selling video game of all time, Minecraft, is great as a standalone game, as players may enjoy its many modes including Survival, Creative, and more with massive possibilities for the base title alone. However, Minecraft is extremely popular with what it has to offer in crossovers and collaborations with other pop culture representations in the media.
Last year, as the Winter festivities were in order, Minecraft brought out its collaboration with Universal Studios, essentially bringing the beloved and temperamental ogre, Shrek, to the game. It also included other famed Universal animated characters on the platform including, Donkey, his famed sidekick, complete with a journey to his swamp, while also touring gamers to movie sets from movies like JAWS and more.
Through the Marketplace, gamers were able to buy the various experiences on Minecraft which adds more color to its pixel-style world, including the arrival of Sonic the Hedgehog's world and Dungeons & Dragons.
Mojang now transformed the Marketplace into a subscription-based service where gamers may have access to all its content, with rotating offers each month available in the world of Minecraft.
