The latest Samsung Galaxy Ring is set to be available to all Android phones in the future, and it will not be entirely Samsung-exclusive like how it is with a Galaxy Watch. However, while the new wearable health tracker would be coming for all Android smartphones, there is one where it would not be available, and this is with Apple's iPhone lineup, recently revealed by the company.
Other connection features, compatibility, and technical specifications were revealed by Samsung, including how it will complete the health tracking experience alongside other wearables.
Samsung Galaxy Ring is an Android Exclusive, Not for iPhones
The many interviews with Samsung these past few days have unveiled more about the Galaxy Ring and what it has to offer the world, and among the many revelations, it was made known that the new wearable is coming for all Android devices. It was initially believed that the Galaxy Ring is only available to Samsung, but the South Korean tech giant clarified that it is for all Android devices.
This means that Samsung is expanding the connections not only for its Galaxy smartphones but also for other Android devices in the future. However, it needed to be clarified if the Galaxy Ring would be released as an exclusive Galaxy accessory at first and later brought this compatibility to other devices or would be compatible with all Android devices when it is made available.
That being said, reports claimed that implications were made about the Galaxy Ring being exclusive to Android only and that it would not work for iPhones.

Galaxy Ring: Health Tracking with Other Devices
Other interviews with Samsung revealed more about the Galaxy Ring's features, centering on a battery life that may last for around five to nine days and weigh only around 2.3 to 2.9 grams. It would also be available to work alongside the Galaxy Watch, offering the metrics from both wearables to deliver information for its users on compatible apps that could log these data.
The Samsung Galaxy Ring
Like other surprise revelations via events, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Ring at its Galaxy Unpacked event but did so right when it wrapped up the festivities. While the Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy AI were the main acts of the event, the new wearable ring also stole the show as it teased a unique take on health trackers and smart device accessories coming soon.
Earlier this week, Samsung brought the new form factor for health wearables to the Mobile World Congress 2024, and this is the first time the Galaxy Ring is available to see in person since Unpacked. In the Barcelona event, Samsung also revealed several details about the Galaxy Ring, especially what it offers and its health tracking features.
In this latest report, the Galaxy Ring will soon be available to Android devices and will not be exclusive to Samsung only. However, while this massive compatibility offers wonders for the Android platform, the Apple iPhone would not be able to get this, relying on other ring trackers to experience the feature, and the Galaxy Ring is exclusive to Android.
