This CES 2024, there are notable revelations from different companies that offer significant developments for what a person needs, something to look out for this year from Dell, ASUS, LG, and MSI.
It was revealed by Ars Technica that these are the several most notable ones revealed this CES 2024, with notable specs to consider for each display.
Dell's UltraSharp 5K 120Hz Monitor
Dell unveiled the UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U4025QW) to the world in their CES 2024 showcase, and it is a display meant for creatives and employees to use for homes or offices, for increased productivity.
This is because Dell claimed that this new 39.7-inch ultrawide monitor with a 5120x2160p and 120Hz refresh rate screen is boosting its eye comfort features for users. It also boasts of its 5-star TÜV Rheinland certification from its Eye Comfort program.
This version offers more "safety indicators from ambient brightness, color temperature adjustment and regulation, and brightness."
It is available starting at $2,399.99 SRP.
ASUS Foldable Portable Monitor
This year, ASUS has reinforced the availability of folding and expanding screens in their lineup, centering on the Zen series available. However, apart from its new foldable laptop, the company brought it to its monitors too, offering a portable device that expands upon needed.
ASUS' ZenScreen Fold OLED MQ17QH opens up as much as 17.3 inches of display with 2560x1920 resolution for its horizontal orientation. Users may also opt for a dual-screen setup with 12.5-inch 1920x1080p displays in portrait mode.
It only weighs 1.17kg and is only 9.7mm thick when opened.
MSI's AI-Powered Monitor
The power of AI comes together for MSI's latest offer for its gaming monitor, particularly with the MEG 321URX 4K Monitor that employs the technology for gamers. This 31.5-inch QD-OLED monitor offers 240Hz refresh rate, 3840x2160p, and Thunderbolt ports, but the most impressive here is the SkySight that it demonstrated with League of Legends.
MSI's AI would help in detecting enemy players coming your way, and it would better offer insight that would give players the upper hand in the game. According to PC World, MSI aims to expand more on other titles like Dota 2 and Counter-Strike 2.
ASUS and LG's Variable Monitor
ASUS and LG also featured their variable monitors that can go from 4K 240Hz to 1080p 480Hz via hotkeys, and it would offer gamers a choice between performance and display in only a click.
ASUS' ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDP and the LG UltraGear 32GS95UE offer this, and it aims to give gamers a boost whenever they need it, at the expense of the 4K quality.
LG and ASUS's 480Hz Display
LG and ASUS also went big this CES 2024 with its fastest displays available in the market, with as much as 480Hz arriving soon.
ASUS's ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP brings the 26.5-inch display with 480Hz and 1440p (2K) resolution. It uses the LG Display WOLED panel, claimed to be the fastest OLED in the world. It features twice the refresh rate of last year's 240Hz gaming monitor announced by the company.
