ASUS' latest refresh to its Zenbook Duo this 2024 offers a massive upgrade compared to last year's release, as this new laptop gets twice the OLED screens, offering multitasking features and versatility for one's needs. Despite having two 14-inch OLED displays, the laptop still comes with a detachable keyboard for users who prefer manual typing instead of doing it on the touchscreen.

Moreover, ASUS claims this to be the "world's first" dual-screen OLED laptop, with impressive specs that offer top experiences for all.

Earlier this week, ASUS announced the arrival of the revamp to the Zenbook DUO lineup, with this year, changing the small OLED screen into a full-sized one.

The Zenbook DUO 2024 now offers 2 OLED screens for users, paired with a detachable keyboard that users may attach whenever stowing it. Each screen features 14 inches of screen size, with 16:10 touchscreens available.

According to ASUS, it offers versatile display modes for all, including dual screen, laptop mode, desktop mode, and sharing.

In its clamshell mode, it offers a highly portable device as it can be stowed easily because of its 14-inch folded mode, as big as a MacBook Pro M3.

ASUS equipped the Zenbook DUO 2024 with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Moreover, it can use up to 32 GB LPDDR5x memory, and up to 2 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD.

It offers a 75 Wh battery, a Harman Kardon-certified Dolby Atmos audio system, ASUS Pen 2.0 support, 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, an audio jack, HDMI 2.1, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A.

ASUS Innovations

Who said foldable screens could only be found on smartphones? Since 2022, ASUS has been dancing around with the idea of taking the folding experience to its renowned laptop lineup, particularly with the Zenbook, centering on the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED laptop which debuted in 2022-offering a massive 2560 x 1920 touchscreen with an aspect ration of 4:3.

Apart from this foldable laptop release from ASUS, it also brought the ROG Ally last year, its take on a handheld and portable gaming console that rivals the Valve Steam Deck. However, it was met with mixed reactions because of its battery life, with reviews stating that while the performance is superior among the handhelds, its power cell cannot support the load of its process, and easily gets drained.

With the significant innovations from ASUS last year taking the stage for what the company has to offer, there are many eyes on them for their 2024 releases. In their latest showcase, ASUS did not disappoint with the Zenbook DUO 2024, offering the first dual-screen OLED that brings 3K resolution and 120Hz for each screen, paired with top components for creative needs.
