The renowned adventurer, historian, professor of archaeology, and more, Indiana Jones, is best known to have his own game, but one of the latest developments to this title is that its release date is nearing 2024. As the project from Bethesda, Xbox, and Machine Games was kept secret since it was unveiled, there were little to no details behind this game, only that it would follow the famed hero.
Indiana Jones Game: Bethesda, Xbox Will Reportedly Release this 2024
Cue the main theme originally orchestrated by the great John Williams, as new reports center on the upcoming release of the Indiana Jones movie from Bethesda and Xbox, said to be coming this 2024.
Insider Gaming cited the many sources behind this new rumor, stating that the highly-anticipated action-adventure title is coming this year, centering on a fresh take on Indy's game adaptation for modern platforms.
However, there are no exact timelines revealed by the sources and the said report for the Indiana Jones game's release, stating only that it is expected to arrive before the year ends.
According to ComicBook Gaming, if this report is accurate, Indiana Jones may be one of the biggest releases for Xbox this year, alongside Avowed and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2.

What to Expect from the Indiana Jones Game?
While not much is known about what Indiana Jones' game has to offer, there is an upcoming showcase for the title this January 18 via Xbox's Developer_Direct, as confirmed by Machine Games and Bethesda earlier today.
It remains unknown whether the upcoming game adaptation would take a page from the past five movies of the Indiana Jones franchise, namely the Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Temple of Doom, The Last Crusade, The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, or The Dial of Destiny.
Indiana Jones Franchise
Since the original 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' by George Lucas, Indiana Jones has made a name for himself, being the "thinking man's action hero" who opposed the macho culture of the 1980s representation of male-centric protagonists. It is widely known that Disney owns the franchise, but it was not until 2013 that they were able to secure the film distribution rights from Paramount Pictures.
There was also massive buzz when rumors of a new Indiana Jones movie was in the works from Lucasfilm, the renowned studio behind the Star Wars franchise, also headed by its creator. This also sparked the fandom of the franchise's return to the big screen, centering on the previous film that was released in 2008, with the latest one, The Dial of Destiny, releasing last year, 2023, fifteen years apart.
While Harrison Ford has already been immortalized as the man behind Indiana Jones' likeness and persona more than 40 years ago, the renowned character and franchise is heading over to a different adventure in this game adaptation. Bethesda, Xbox, and Machine Games have reportedly been planning to bring this much-awaited title this year, with an upcoming showcase coming this mid-January.
