If Apple completely goes after Beeper, then so be it.
In a latest report, Beeper will likely give up the idea of defending its iMessage Android app against Apple if ever the latter blocks its methods.
While the messaging platform recently introduced a workaround for Android users to send iMessages, Beeper has decided to cease these efforts, emphasizing a redirection towards its "long-term goal of building the best chat app on earth."
What's Beeper's Decision Recently
Acknowledging the challenges faced by Beeper Mini's intermittent disruptions and Apple's interference, the company expressed concerns about its credibility taking a hit.
Describing the ongoing issue with Apple as unsustainable, Beeper is opting to discontinue the pursuit of workarounds, according to The Verge.

Complex Solutions and Desperation: Beeper's Latest Fix
The journey for Beeper users to access iMessages on Android has evolved into a convoluted process. Beeper's latest fix introduces what seems like a desperate measure: users are urged to own or rent a jailbroken iPhone, coupled with the requirement of a Mac or Linux computer.
While this workaround is presented as a solution, users must keep the iPhone connected to power and Wi-Fi continuously, posing logistical challenges.
Rental Service Offer and Potential Response: Beeper's Next Move
Beeper suggests users who don't own an old iPhone consider renting one for a nominal fee, with the promise of introducing its rental service next year if there's sufficient demand. However, Beeper openly admits it lacks plans to counter any potential disruption if Apple devises a method to block its latest solution.
Addressing Security Concerns
Responding to concerns about the app's security, Beeper has taken a bold step by open-sourcing its iMessage bridge. This move allows users to inspect the code for transparency and even build something with it. The release of the Mac and iPhone app used for generating iMessage registration codes is part of this transparency initiative.
What Lies Within Beeper's Perspective
Beeper maintains that, at this stage, Apple's actions to block Beeper Mini appear increasingly difficult to defend. While asserting the belief that Apple can tolerate the recent update, Beeper speculates that Apple's resistance might stem from potential revenue concerns related to iPhone sales if iMessage were accessible on Android.
"Uh, isn't that what SMS is for? With iMessage, Apple even has the ability to block spammers and scammers at the network layer. It's much easier for them to block iMessage spam than SMS spam, which can only be blocked client-side. We don't really understand this argument at all," Beeper said, responding to replies against its iMessage-like app, as reported by 9to5Google.
